I was provided with passes to these attractions. All opinions are my own.
A few weeks back, my husband's family came up for a week to visit us for the first time in ten years. It was a very fun week and we all got to know each other a lot better. And while everyone was together, we all went to Gatlinburg to have some fun! And since Gatlinburg has many Ripley's attractions, we checked out three of them while we were there.
Our first stop was to the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies which is my favorite place in Gatlinburg. It's full of gorgeous animals and so much to see you could stay for hours!
My personal favorite is the penguins! I love them all so much and last year we came to the aquarium to do the penguin experience which was really fun.
The next stop was to the Guinness Book of World Records Museum. That place was really neat and there were interactive exhibits in there too. Just look at the karate blocks Mary tried to chop! We all had to try that out multiple times!
And who could walk by the Elvis wall without a shot of it? I love Elvis way too much!
Our last stop was to the Ripley's Believe it or Not which ended our day. There were interesting exhibits in here but not all of them were appropriate for young children in my opinion. Mary did cover her eyes for a lot of them and we ended up walking out early. So this one is best for teenagers and adults.
Overall we had a great day and if I had to rate our attractions based on a family going, the aquarium is a must see, the Guinness Book of Word Records museum is fun for kids and the Ripley's Odditorium is best for teens and adults.
